Rochester Outreach Center was the first outreach center in the country. It was founded in 1973 by two Vietnam Veterans and its doors have been open ever since. Over one thousand veterans come through it’s doors every month.
Lindsey greeted us with a big smile and it was immediately clear why she was the point person. Her energy, love of veterans, and love of people in general cane threw loud and clear. From the individual counselors to the outreach store “Stars and Stripes” Walk With Frank was embraced with open arms.
Director Laura Stradley is an Army Veteran who spent eight years on active duty. Just before leaving the service Laura earned her Masters Of Science in Business Administration and has worked with veterans for more than a decade.
